The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (SSTEC) is committed to building a sustainable and livable green city. As a responsible corporate citizen, SSTEC firmly believes in promoting green eco-friendly concepts and a LOHAS lifestyle, by organising public welfare activities that raise environmental awareness and support sustainable development. SSTEC also believes in giving back to society and actively participating in charity events to help the less fortunate.

Giving back to society and helping the less fortunate

SSTEC has lent a helping hand to disaster-stricken areas and impoverished areas on many occasions, helping to improve the lives of those affected by donating money, clothes and other items. In 2010, SSTEC donated a sum of money to help those who were affected by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Yushu County in Qinghai Province to get through that difficult period and rebuild their homes. Following the Tianjin 8.12 Blast in 2015, SSTEC donated a sum of money through the Eco-City Volunteers’ Association to the Eco-City’s Public Security Sub-Bureau and Fire Department to support their rescue efforts. SSTEC has also rallied its staff to show their care and concern for those in need by donating pre-loved clothes and items to students and villagers in impoverished areas. SSTEC was also among the first batch of companies to donate to the Tianjin Binhai New Area Association of Charities, and has been organising donation drives among its staff to contribute to the Association for many years.
