Green Transportation
According to the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City upgraded version 2.0 of the KPIs, the green trips rate in the Eco-City should be no less than 95% by 2035.
The Eco-City is well-serviced by a comprehensive public transport system of environmentally-friendly buses and bicycle-sharing network. There are plans to develop an electric tram system and a Light Rail Transit (LRT) system to further enhance the connectivity within and out of the Eco-City, providing convenient transport for those who live and work here. At the same time, the Eco-City’s pedestrian walkways, cycling paths and community walkways within Eco-Cells form a convenient and efficient urban slow traffic system.
